A day for little explorers and big family moments: On theSunday, October 18, 2026, the "Day of the View" is entering its fourth round. This time, nature adventures await the little ones and a cozy return trip with theHorse-drawn wagonsto the whole family.
Hiking, discovering, marveling
Let's get started in Altenburg. From there, the approximately 7-kilometer circular hike along the Neckar leads through Oferdingen to Pliezhausen and back again. With 130 meters of elevation and varied paths, the route becomes an adventure journey for little and big explorers alike. At various stations, it’s all about trying together, observing, and discovering new things. This way, nature becomes playfully tangible along the way and knowledge is imparted quite naturally. Along with that, there are beautiful views and time for a shared break.
An animal highlight
For the return trip, a very special highlight awaits: With theHorse-drawn wagonsIt's a leisurely return to the starting point. This way, the trip home becomes an experience, and the outing gets a nice conclusion!
