Big Easter Egg Hunt in Reutlingen
The Easter Bunny is coming to Reutlingen! Easter will be especially exciting for our little visitors. The Easter Bunny will be roaming through the Reutlingen city center, bringing bright smiles to children’s faces! Together with RTaktiv e.V., Stadtmarketing Reutlingen has prepared a special interactive activity for all children between 2 and 12 years old: The Easter Bunny hides your self-made Easter nests in the shop windows of participating stores.
Crafting, Submitting, Searching
Get your wooden Easter nest at the Tourist Information at Marktplatz 14, assemble it, decorate it at home exactly to your taste, and then bring it back.
Then the Easter Bunny takes over – he fills your Easter basket with a little surprise and secretly distributes it around downtown.
On April 4, 2026, the big Easter egg hunt begins:Set out on your journey through the Reutlingen city center and discover your filled Easter basket in the shop windows of the participating stores. Once you find it, you can of course take it with you – and enjoy the sweet surprise!

Who is the promotion intended for?
All children aged2 – 12 yearscan participate in the campaign.
How can I register my child for the event?
Since we can only distribute a limited number of nests, children must be from the04. until March 9You can register with city marketing. Please use our online registration for this.
If you cannot register online, you can also register on-site at the Tourist Information Reutlingen.
Where and when can I pick up the Easter basket?
The nest, which is assembled and painted by the children, must be atMarch 11 or 12 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PMin theTourist Information Reutlingen at Marktplatz 14to be picked up.
When picking up, you must bring yourBooking Confirmationshow.
How much time does my child have to paint the Easter nest?
Children take the Easter basket home and paint it. For this, children have until pickup on March 11th/12th.until March 23Time.
Instructions for assembly are available for download. It’s best to glue the nest together again so that it lasts a long time.
Where and when do I return the Nest?
The nest must be on theMarch 24th or 25th between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PMin theTourist Informationto be submitted at Marktplatz 14.
How do I know where my child’s Easter basket is hidden?
Upon pickup, you will receiveyou a flyer with all the informationand a slip of paper with a number on it. Each number is unique, so you immediately know which nest belongs to you.
Also, the note is colored. The color shows you in which stores the nest could be hidden.
In order to find the nest again, the stores are color-coded. Depending on the color of the note attached to the nest and handed to you, you can see which store is involved. The colors are the same as the colors of the stores on the flyer.
From what age can my child start the search?
The nests are filled by the Easter Bunny and distributed to the stores. Starting April 4th, the Easter nests will be displayed in the windows of the participating businesses, and you can start searching for them.
From April 4th to 11thThe nests can then be picked up. Please observe the store opening hours.
I found the nest in the shop window, now what?
When your child has found the nest, you go into the store and show your number (a slip handed out when the nest was dropped off). If the number matches the one displayed in the shop window, you will get your Easter nest filled by the Easter Bunny back.

What happens to nests that were not picked up?
All nests that are within the search periodfrom April 4th to 11thnot picked up will be disposed of.
