Reutlingen transforms into a two-day open-air mile during the city festival on June 19 and 20, an experience you won’t forget anytime soon. Seven squares, over 50 clubs & restaurateurs, amazing food, and live acts that will get you dancing – all set against our beautiful, historic backdrop.
300 Years of the Great City Fire – our Vielfalt-lingen
On the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the Reutlingen city fire in 2026, we would like to commemorate this city-shaping event as part of the project "unser Vielfalt-lingen."
Our Diversity-lingen
With the project "Unser Vielfalt-lingen," we are transforming eight shop windows on Wilhelm and Krämer streets into vibrant platforms for culture, creativity, and community. They are designed by the people of Reutlingen themselves: clubs, schools, artists, initiatives – everyone who wants to make a piece of Reutlingen's diversity visible.
Music Pedestrian Zone Reutlingen
On Saturday, June 27th, the pedestrian zone in Reutlingen (Wilhelmstraße) will transform into a lively festival ground from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. It’s the Day of Street Music, which means: Reutlingen will be loud, colorful, and incredibly creative!
Our Beach-lingen
The summer will be musical and artistic: The Citybeach at the Marienkirche becomes "our Beach-lingen." Every Thursday in July, the Citybeach will turn into a place for music and art from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Whether singer-songwriter, artist, or creative professional – we invite Reutlingen musicians and artists to fill the city center with their art.
The Citybeach at the Marienkirche is back
Fancy a short break from everyday life? You don’t need to plan much. From June 26 to August 2, 2025, the square in front of Marienkirche will once again transform into the Reutlingen Citybeach. Specifically: Fine sand under your feet, lounge chairs, umbrellas, and palm trees right in the city center.

Walk & Talk – Reutlinger Paths that Connect
Hiking with the Mayor: On May 15th, "Walk & Talk" takes you up high on the Roßberg together with Thomas Keck. We’ll start at 11:00 AM at the Schützenhaus in Gönningen, casually chat along the way about our Reutlingen, and enjoy the mayor’s favorite farmer’s bratwurst at the destination. Spaces are limited – we look forward to your registration!
Sunday store openings "Fit for Spring" 2026
On April 19, the Reutlingen city center welcomes spring with the shopping Sunday "Fit in den Frühling." From 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, an exciting program focused on fitness, health, and movement awaits you – ideal for recharging your energy!
