"Safety Day"Sunday shopping opening 2026

On theSeptember 27 from 1 PM to 6 PMThe Reutlingen city center will become an experience zone for young and old on the "Day of Safety." Various aid organizations offer exciting insights and invite you to participate. In addition, the stores will open their doors for the Sunday shopping event.

Your security program in the city!

  • Youth exercise of the aid organizations
    At 1 PM, the youth groups of the aid organizations will show what they can do in the Bürgerpark. Exciting insights and plenty of action included.

  • Bucket chain in the Bürgerpark
    At 3 PM, children and teenagers in Bürgerpark will form a bucket brigade to demonstrate how the Reutlingen city fire was fought 300 years ago. Afterwards, the fire department will show how fire fighting works today.

  • Join In & Collect Memories
    At the booths of the aid organizations, various participatory activities are waiting for you. There are also photo frames in Polaroid style for your souvenir photo.
